Member for Mildura, Jade Benham, is reminding locals to take advantage of the latest round of the Power Saving Bonus, before applications close later this month.
The $100 payment is available to all eligible households, including those who received the bonus in previous rounds.
“Many locals may have already applied since the program opened last August, but if you haven’t yet done so, I encourage you to check your eligibility and submit your application before the deadline,” Ms Benham said.
“Every little bit helps right now, and this rebate can provide some welcome relief for households managing rising energy prices and everyday costs.
“It’s one of the quickest applications you can make, and it’s worth the short time it takes to get it done. Every bit helps when budgets are stretched this far,” Ms Benham said.
To apply, eligible households will need a recent residential electricity bill and must hold a Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card, or Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card.
Applications close on 31 March 2026. For further information, eligibility criteria and to apply, visit the Victorian Energy Compare website at https://compare.energy.vic.gov.au.
Locals who need assistance with their application are welcome to visit Ms Benham’s office at 35a Deakin Avenue, Mildura.
