Wentworth residents were requested to conserve both filtered and raw water yesterday.
Wentworth Raw Water Pump Station was needing some urgent repairs, and was unable to pump water into the township for raw water supply and to the treatment plant for the production of filtered water.
Wentworth Shire Council requested that residents and businesses minimise the use of both filtered water and raw water to essential needs.

It was expected that repairs to the raw water pump station would be completed by 5:00pm yesterday, with normal water use to return thereafter.
Wentworth Shire Council apologised for this inconvenience.
