Home security cameras led to the arrest of two people in the Riverland over the weekend.
About 2.30pm Friday (12 January) the victim received notifications on his phone alerting him to trespassers on his property.
The victim phoned police and was able to provide descriptions of the male and female suspects and their getaway-car a Mitsubishi Magna, however they had fled the property prior to police arrival.
In the early hours of Sunday 14 January, police located the Mitsubishi on Murray Street in Renmark.
The car was bearing altered registration plates, and was subsequently seized for examination.
Later that day, about 3.45pm, police spotted a man and woman that matched the description of the suspects walking along Renmark Avenue.
Police spoke to the pair who allegedly provided false personal details to police.
The 39-year-old Queensland man and 27-year-old Queensland woman were arrested and have been charged with trespass, providing false personal details to police, several counts of unlawful possession, and driving offences.
