Mildura Rural City Council is set to celebrate International Women’s Day this Friday, March 13.
The event is to be held at Mallee Arts coLab (Arts Mildura), promised to be a full day of creativity, conversation and connection.
Council says attendees can get involved and:
Paint the giant Community Mural
Watch the Mallee Women Short Film Screening
Experience the Motherload Interactive Exhibition
Engage with Ngamaka Kunthalaana Cultural Arts
Create your own badges & magnets
The program throughout the day will include Tai Chi Yoga Fusion, a Pelvic Floor Workshop, Gut Health & Fermented Food Class, and light refreshments.
The event is presented in partnership by Mildura Rural City Council and Mallee Arts coLab.
The aim of the event is to celebrate the strength, creativity and leadership of women in our community.
Council is encouraging attendees to take a friend, drop in anytime, and be part of it.
The day will run from 10:00am to 6:00pm and all activities are free.
