Mildura Rural City Council is encouraging locals who want to have a role in shaping the future of the local area and are passionate about making a positive contribution to the community to consider standing for Council in the 2024 local government elections.
Municipal Association of Victoria is holding a series of in-person and online information sessions for the community and prospective candidates.
Local will have the chance to learn about the role of a councillor, the electoral process and they may even receive some campaign tips.
