Victoria Police are warning motorists that there are increased vehicle and river checks being carried out in the Robinvale and Swan Hill region after increased reports of people driving without a valid licence.
Acting Sergeant Downie says “We would like to remind drivers getting behind the wheel that police have several powers to impound vehicles for particular offences and driving without a licence is one of them.”
On Saturday (9th of September 2023) police intercepted a vehicle on Cleary Drive in Robinvale and discovered the driver was unlicensed.

The driver had their vehicle impounded & will have to face a magistrate at Robinvale Magistrates Court at a later date.
