Salinity will be the focus of the Mallee Catchment Management Authority in coming weeks.
The authority says it’ll be using a low-flying chopper and receiver coil to gather data.
It says that can be used to model groundwater to around forty-metres below the surface.

Mallee CMA is hoping to use the information to protect the environment and irrigation industries into the next 20 years.
