Farmers are being urged to take care to help stop haystack fires.
With the harvest and hay season underway across Victoria's
North-West, CFA crews have already been called to recent hay fires in
areas inclduing Robinvale.
The fire Authority says early preparation and proper storage are
essential in reducing the risk of the blazes.
There were 73 haystack and hay shed fires in regional Victoria
between June last year and July 1 this year.
