There are calls for Sunraysia producers to take part in survey on the impacts of wild dogs in the region.
The Victorian Government has opened the Livestock Predation Survey, collecting data about wild dog and dingo incidents and the impacts on farmers and communities, but it’s only open for two weeks.
Shadow Agriculture Minister Emma Kealy says it comes after the government revoked an unprotection order on wild dogs in the northwest, including Sunraysia, with only a few hours-notice earlier this year.
The dingo unprotection order for eastern Victoria remains in place until 1 October 2024.

The survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
