Transport for NSW has advised of changed traffic conditions for essential maintenance work on the NSW approach to the George Chaffey Bridge.
Routine maintenance will be carried out to provide a safer road for motorists.
To minimise impact on the community, work is being carried out at night between 8:00pm and 6:00am, between Monday 23 and Friday 27 March, weather permitting.
Traffic control will be in place and includes lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h.
There will be temporary bridge closures with short delays at various times during each shift.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the direction of signs and traffic control and allow an extra 20 minutes travel time.
