Victoria Police have taken to social media to again remind locals and visitors to not make it easy for thieves.
They say if it’s quick to get to, it’s quick to take.
Thieves are continuing to look for unsecured utes and trailers with tools left out or easy to access.
Police encourage locals and visitors to park off street where they can, lock up properly and keep tools out of sight.
They say taking a few simple steps protects your gear.
