A fundraiser is being held on the cricket pitch this weekend, raising awareness around men’s mental health.
The annual Pooncarie versus Anabranch Cricket Match is happening tomorrow at Dareton’s George Gordon Oval, featuring ex-Test Cricketers & Coaches Phil Emery, Steve Rixon and Wayne Holdsworth.
The NSW Reconstruction Authority’s Mobile Recovery Assistance Service will also be on hand to talk about flood help.
Wentworth Shire Council says it’s a chance to provide the community with information but also promote support for mental health.
Flood Recovery Services will be on the ground from 5pm, with tea at 6.30pm and the match commencing at 7.30pm.
