Foodshare in Mildura will receive Victorian Government funding to help support its operations.
The local organisation is one of six regional Foodshares to share in one-and-a-half MILLION dollars, which will also help coordinate services through the Regional Food Security Alliance, encompassing Foodshares in Albury-Wodonga, Shepparton, Bendigo, Warrnambool and Geelong as well as Mildura.
The money will be aimed at providing healthy food to locals in need.

In the 2023-2024 financial year, the six groups sourced enough food for more than six-MILLION meals for people across 35 local government areas of the state.
