The work of former Red Cliffs Secondary College Principal, Mildura Mayor and artist Eddie Warhurst returns to Red Cliffs this October with Sandhills to Seascapes, an exhibition tracing an artistic journey from the colours and landscapes of the Mallee to the coast.
Opening at Workspace 3496 + Gallery on Sunday 4 October, the exhibition brings Warhurst’s work back to a community that played a significant role in his life.
The exhibition will be officially opened by his daughter, broadcaster and writer Myf Warhurst.
Warhurst served as Principal of Red Cliffs Secondary College from 1981 to 1992, before going on to serve the wider region in local government, including as Mayor of Mildura Rural City Council.
The Red Cliffs exhibition is being presented in collaboration with Mildura Arts Centre (MAC) as part of its 70th anniversary celebrations, adding another layer to Warhurst’s connection with the region.
Eddie Warhurst: Sandhills to Seascapes will be officially opened by Myf Warhurst at 1:00pm on Sunday 4 October 2026 at Workspace 3496 + Gallery, with the community invited to attend.
The exhibition continues until 24 October 2026.
