Firearms safety training – Euston

Western Local Land Services has engaged a Registered Training Organisation to deliver firearms training to landholders in the Euston area.

Locals can join Western Local Land Services for firearms safety training for landholders in the Euston area as part of the Mallee Birds Community project.

The training will cover:

  • General principles of firearms safety.
  • Humane destruction of livestock.
  • Pest animal control and the benefits of pest animal control to the Mallee Birds Community and other native plants and animals.
  • Provide participants with the opportunity to practice their firearms skills in a controlled and safe environment.
  • Licence certification for adults and minors.

Additional details:

  • Participants/landholders do not need to hold a firearms licence to attend the training.
  • The firearms license safety test will be completed for unlicensed participants during the training, and on successful completion of this, a certificate will be emailed. This certificate is then attached to the firearms license application as proof of firearms safety training.

The training will be held on Tuesday, 17 March, from 9:00am – 3:00pm at the Robinvale Swan Hill Rifle Club.
