Locals have two weeks to have their say on Mildura Rural City Council’s Draft Regional Motorsport Strategy.
The Mildura Regional Motorsport Strategy 2024 – 2028 is based around increasing the capacity of local motorsport clubs, allowing them to grow their membership bases, improve their facilities and host bigger and more events among a host of benefits.
This collaborative approach to growing motorsport represents a first for the Sunraysia region, and possibly the country, allowing local clubs to drive the future direction and growth of their sport.
Mildura Council Mayor Liam Wood says the motorsport industry brings in around 20-MILLION dollars to the local economy each year.
The Mildura Regional Motorsport Strategy is largely funded by the Victorian Government.
