The Mildura Riverfront has received a major upgrade just in time for the school holidays with the launch of the Mildura Riverfront Adventure, a new virtual experience for families.
Mildura Rural City Council has taken to social media to encourage locals and visitors to grab their smartphone or tablet with the children or grandchildren, download the free Agents of Discovery app, and embark on a mission to complete 12 challenges hidden along the Murray River.
Agents of Discovery is a digital education technology platform that features a web-based dashboard where educators can easily turn their educational content into augmented reality games, such as details about the Mildura riverfront including hidden history and nature details.
The adventure begins at Nowingi Place on Hugh King Drive.
