More return points for cans and bottles haven’t been ruled out for Mildura.
Locals have been among the top returns for recycling in Victoria, with Mildura having the most containers returned in the first six months of the program.
There are four container return points in the city, while Ouyen and Robinvale have over the counter return points.

Jim Round, manager of VICReturn, has told the Sunraysia Daily that reverse vending machines are not as practical.
Mildura is still listed as the top performing regional area of the Victorian Container Deposit Scheme.
