Wentworth Shire Council plans to host free workshops in October to support primary producers with the complex requirements for moving agricultural vehicles, implements and machinery on public roads.
The sessions aim to improve vehicle and operator safety and provide practical resources.
There is no cost to attend.
Sessions are subject to demand.
Venues may be withdrawn or added.
Topics include:
• NSW Light Vehicle Agricultural and Indivisible Item Exemption Notice 2024
• Weights and dimensions
• Conditional registration
• Pilot and escort requirements
• Warning flags and lights
• Permitted travel times
• Load restraint
• Fatigue management
Proposed locations: Anabranch, Buronga/Gol Gol, Pomona, Pooncarie, Wentworth.
