The Wentworth Flood Rally marks seventy years since the 1956 Murray–Darling Flood, when the Wentworth community united to save their town by building levee banks with the help of Ferguson TEA20 tractors.
The rally is expected to attract more than 3,000 visitors and over 250 registered vintage vehicles dated pre-1956.
Today, Friday 5 June and tomorrow, Saturday 6 June:
Watch over 100 historical tractors and their support crews complete their treks.
Today’s TRACS (Tractor Restoration and Appreciation Club of Sunraysia) Trek arrives in Wentworth between 3:00pm and 4:00pm, and tomorrow’s trek will return to Wentworth around 3:00pm.
Sunday, 7 June, Darling Street and the Wharf Precinct in Wentworth will feature the Main Street Muster from 9:00am.
This includes market stalls, vintage machinery displays, food vans, and an Australian Record Attempt for the largest gathering of Ferguson tractors.
