Erratic driver near Swan Hill prompts a reminder to reach out to police regarding driving

On Thursday 29 January 2026, Police received a triple zero call regarding an erratic driver on the Murray Valley Highway, Swan Hill.

The vehicle was located on Beveridge Street a short time later and the Probationary Driver was required to undergo an Evidentiary Breath Test, returning an atrocious reading of 0.220.

His licence was immediately suspended and his vehicle impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1525.
