Swan Hill Rural City Council’s Youth Support Program is now calling for expressions of interest from young people aged 15 to 18 to take part in the four-day camp at Halls Gap from 19 to 22 January 2027.
Set among the spectacular surrounds of the Grampians, the camp will give participants the opportunity to challenge themselves, try new activities and develop skills in leadership, teamwork and self-reflection.
Council’s Director Customer and Community Services said the camp was a fantastic opportunity for local young people to start the year with a new experience.
“Summer Camp is all about giving young people the chance to get out there, have some fun, meet new people and challenge themselves in a supportive environment.”
“There will be plenty of adventure along the way, but importantly, participants will also come home with greater confidence, new skills and hopefully some great new friendships.”
“For just $50, it’s a fantastic opportunity for young people to experience a few days away in Halls Gap and take part in something they might not otherwise have the chance to do,” Mr Myers said.
