Mildura Rural City Council has cut emissions, water usage and waste going to landfill over the last twelve month.
The city has released its Environmental Sustainability Report, showing it’s also upgraded more than 1,700 street lights to LEDs during the 2022/23 financial year.
It’s also planted more than 1,100 trees in urban areas.

The council says the annual report is valuable way to measure how the city is progressing towards its aim of slashing carbon emissions, while also giving an insight to the benefits of the work that ha been undertaken in recent years.
