Last weekend, a vehicle was allegedly seen out the front of the Mildura Show doing a large burnout. There was numerous patrons of the show nearby, including children, who were put at risk by this hoon behaviour.
A short time later police located the vehicle and found that the male driver was a learner with another learner in the passenger seat. The driver blew 0.126 on an Evidentiary Breath Test and further checks showed the vehicle to be unregistered and unroadworthy.
The vehicle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1525 and the driver will face the Mildura Magistrates’ Court in the future.
