Growers and industry are invited to Dried Fruits Australia’s first field walk of 2026 this week.
The event is to be a social breakfast to explore trials of dried grape varieties, including newly released variety Murray Muscat, as harvest nears.
The event will be held at 8:00am on Thursday, 5 February, at the Secur family vineyard on Sixth Street, Merbein South.
The block was formerly owned by Tony Martin, who was responsible for planting and trialling the varieties for industry.
Tony will be in attendance to talk to the group and answer any questions growers and industry might have.
Breakfast and drinks will be provided.
