Wentworth Shire Council have given public notice of the exhibition of the draft Wentworth Flood Study (combined Riverine and Major Overland Flow Study).
The purpose of the Wentworth Flood Study is to define the nature of both riverine (Murray and Darling River flooding) and local catchment type flooding at the urban centres of Wentworth, Dareton, Buronga and Gol Gol.
The following documents will be exhibited on https://engage.wentworth.nsw.gov.au/ and in Council Administration offices:
- Draft Wentworth Flood Study Report Volume 1
- Draft Wentworth Flood Study Figures Volume 2
The exhibition documents will be on display until Wednesday 11 February 2026.
If you wish to make a written submission, either by email, by council website, in person or post, submissions are to be received by 5:00pm, Wednesday 11 February 2026.
Any submissions received may be made public unless a request to withhold is made.
