Dementia Action Week this week

Dementia Action Week 2024 is from Monday 16 September to Sunday 22 September, which includes World Alzheimer’s Day tomorrow, Saturday 21 September. 

This year’s theme is ‘Act Now for a Dementia-Friendly Future’.

A lack of knowledge and understanding of dementia may lead to people living with dementia experiencing stigma and discrimination in the community. 

But it doesn’t have to.
