Ouyen’s Men’s Shed has a new device aimed at saving lives.
An automated external defibrillator has been installed at the shed, funded by volunteer group Heartbeat Sunraysia.
Ambulance Victoria says the device will have a big impact in the community, helping increase access to live saving care if someone suffers a cardiac arrest.

The health authority says patients who receive CPR and a shock from a defibrillator have their chances of survival more than double.
Four defibrillators are publicly accessible in the Ouyen community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
