There is still time for New South Wales residents to have their say about health services in their area.
The Select Committee on Remote, Regional and Rural Health has extended the deadline for submissions to its inquiry into the implementation of recommendations relating to the delivery of specific health services and specialist care in remote, rural and regional NSW.
The New South Wales Government wants to know if you’ve seen any improvements in specialist health services, in particular:
• Maternity services, obstetrics and paediatrics
• Patient transport and paramedicine
• Indigenous health services
• Mental health services, and drug and alcohol services
• Aged care and palliative care
• Cancer care and oncology
• Other specialist care and allied health services
Submissions are open until 11.59pm, Friday 26 April 2024: https://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au/committees/inquiries/Pages/inquiry-details.aspx?pk=3034#tab-submissions
