Wentworth Shire Council has been successful in obtaining funding through Resources for Regions Round 9, for the replacement of footpaths in the Wentworth shopping precinct.
Council says the area has been identified as a priority upgrade due to root systems of trees in Darling Street causing the footpath to become a safety hazard for pedestrians.
There are a couple of pop-up information sessions to be held for the information of the public:
Thursday 2 May, 10:00am – 1:30pm, Darling Street, Wentworth and Friday 3 May, 10:00am – 1:30pm, Wentworth Memorial Rooms, 66 Darling Street, Wentworth.
