Mildura Rural City Council have announced an interactive cyber security training session.
The event, delivered by Cyber Guys, will focus on:
Organisational payment safety
Corporate governance in relation to obligations under the Corporations Act 2001 and relevant Victorian State Legislation for board members of community groups
Treasurer training
Data storage and information governance
Man-in-the-middle fake invoice scams
Q&A
Catering will be provided for those taking part in person.
The free event is to be held on Wednesday 3 September, 5.30pm to 7.30pm at Council’s Deakin Service Centre or online via Teams.

This session is being provided thanks to funding from the Commonwealth’s Cyber Security Awareness Support for Vulnerable Groups Grant and is aimed at community and not-for-profit groups.
