West Darling Arts is bringing a full-day Creative Cultural Tourism Workshop to Wentworth, exploring how artists, Council, small businesses and organisations can work together to build meaningful, market-ready cultural experiences.
Cultural tourism attracts visitors seeking authentic art, culture, festivals and memorable experiences. This workshop examines how regional creatives can unlock that opportunity and turn local strengths into sustainable tourism outcomes.
Friday 20 February, 9:00am-4:30pm at the Wentworth Town Hall & Community Meeting Room, Short Street, Wentworth.
Food and drinks are included.
This interactive session combines in-depth discussion, hands-on activities, resource sharing and targeted networking.
Participants will learn how to strategically leverage their people, history, traditions, arts and culture to create compelling experiences that resonate with cultural visitors.
The workshop is presented by award-winning creative industries expert Monica Davidson, founder of Creative Plus Business.
With a background in journalism, performance and filmmaking, Monica specialises in helping creatives develop strong business and marketing skills.
