COVID testing changes are coming into effect from today at Mildura Base Public Hospital.
Visitors and carers won’t have to do a rapid test before going to hospital to visit someone, and that’s also extended to Emergency Department visitors.
Two visitors at any time during the visiting times will be allowed, but patients can have as many visitors overall during the day.

The hospital says COVID changes aren’t extended for those heading in for operations and other inpatients.
Masks are being encouraged, but mandatory mask wearing will end.
