Vote counting is getting underway in the local government elections.
Ballots had to be in the mail by 6:00 last Friday evening, with the Victorian Electoral Commission accepting votes up until midday this Friday.
The provisional results for the Mildura and Swan Hill Councils will be available between November 6th and 12th.

Mildura will have nine single-ward councillors.
