Broken Hill Police have issued an alert for people to be careful of counterfeit $100 notes being handed over to several business and a ride share in Broken Hill over the past several days.
The notes detected have small writing ‘Prop’ or ‘Prop bank note’ and look similar to the depiction.
If anyone detects a counterfeit note, please contact Broken Hill Police or crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
