There will be fireworks displays at 9.30pm and midnight on Sunday 31 December at Nowingi Place to celebrate the New Year.
Mildura Rural City Council has taken to social media to remind residents that fireworks are frightening to some pets.
They are urging people to please pay attention to signs that your pet may be feeling stressed.
To tips to keep pets safe during fireworks:
Leave your pets at home
Provide pets with a safe, quiet and secure area within the house
Pay attention to when the fireworks start
Make sure pets are wearing collars and ID tags
