Mildura Rural City Council is calling for funding from the next Victorian Government for a world-class adventure playspace right on Mildura’s riverfront.
Council says it could be a place where kids can explore, families can connect, and visitors have another reason to stay a little longer in our region.
Council has already committed $1.8 million towards the Jaycee Park Adventure Playspace, a project shaped by community feedback and backed by strong local support.
Now they’re calling on the next Victorian Government to partner with them and contribute $3.2 million to help bring the vision to life.
They say this isn’t just about building a playground, it’s about creating a destination for families, supporting healthy and active lifestyles, and boosting the visitor economy.
