Mildura Rural City Council is encouraging parents to check is it time for your child’s 3.5 year Maternal and Child Health (MCH) visit?
Council says that when your child turns three-and-a-half it is time for their final visit with an MCH nurse.
They say this visit is vital as it helps ensure your child is developing healthily and on track to start school.
At the 3.5 year visit, your MCH nurse will:
Review your child’s health, growth and development
Discuss starting kindergarten
Check your child’s vision
Provide guidance on healthy eating and looking after your child’s teeth
You can also chat with your MCH nurse about any other issues or concerns you may have.
To learn more go to mildura.vic.gov.au/MCH or call 5018 8277 to book an MCH appointment.
