Mildura Rural City Council are encouraging locals to sign up to receive their rates notices via email by running a competition to win a discount on next year’s rates.
Ratepayers who register to receive their rates notice by email by 30 September 2024 will go in the draw to win up to $2,000 off their 2024-25 rates notice.
Ratepayers already signed up for email correspondence will also be included in the draw.
Currently, nearly 13 per cent of Council’s rates notices are sent via email, with the goal to increase that number to 20 per cent this year.
All ratepayers are eligible to win the prize, except employees of Mildura Rural City Council.
