A popular Mildura Rural City Council program has returned.
Council says they are creating healthier and greener neighbourhoods through the fourth round of their Cool It Street Program.
Several neighbourhoods will undergo a transformation through the initiative, which aims to provide quality tree canopy cover by planting semi-mature trees in areas of need.
Council is asking: Is your street in need of a transformation?
To be eligible:
Streets must be 5 years or older
Streets must have little to no trees in their nature strips
Multiple residents have to show their support for the initiative
Streets within urban areas
All nominations will be assessed for suitability.
Nominations close at 5:00pm on Friday 28 November.
