A local MP has raised concerns about the New South Wales Government’s proposal to have planned flooding every second year.
Member for Murray Helen Dalton says Water Minister Rose Jackson has signed a river flood bill, but the local member says it’ll wipe hundreds of millions of dollars off rural property values in her electorate, and potentially cut off crucial parts off communities such as schools, business and hospitals with some roads unusable.
