Federal MP Anne Webster says many in the Murray Darling Basin communities she’s spoken to, are against water buybacks, which are being proposed as part of the Basin Plan amendments being put forward by Labor.
The Member for Mallee has been involved in a listening tour with other Nationals MPs and says a Senate committee to look into the amendments is Labor-heavy, with two days of hearings being held in Canberra.
