Mildura Rural City Council is putting the call out to residents to help clean up the Mildura South Wetlands – Dunnings area as part of Clean Up Australia Day 2026.
Anyone and everyone can get involved, with the event to take place on Sunday 1 March from 10:00am to 11:00am.
This year they will also be holding a ‘weed walk’ from 9.30am involving a walk through the wetlands, discussing common weeds and some tips and tricks to combat them.
Those interested are asked to meet at the playground at the end of Ontario Park Drive, off Ontario Avenue.

Gloves and Clean Up Australia Day bags will be made available on the day.
Businesses, schools or community groups can also organise their own Clean Up Australia Day event by registering it at https://register.cleanup.org.au.
Registered event organisers will receive their own clean-up kit to support their event.
