Registrations for Clean Up Australia Day 2026 are now open.
Clean Up Australia Day returns on Sunday 1 March 2026, and they’re calling on individuals, families, schools and community groups to get involved in Australia’s largest environmental movement.
Since it began, more than 23 million volunteers have taken part.
In 2025 alone, 800,000 people joined 8,000 events nationwide — and they’re ready to do it again.
Plastics still make up 81% of litter found in our parks, bushlands and waterways, with vapes and batteries now among the top e-waste items found in the environment.
Whether you’re cleaning a beach, creek or local park — every effort counts.
