There could be a Catholic school built in Mildura South.
The Catholic Church has bought up land on Deakin Avenue.
The seven-point-three hectare plot is near the Mildura Sporting Precinct, and is understood to have been snapped up for more than two-million dollars.

Tom Sexton from Diocese of Ballarat’s education arm has told the Sunraysia Daily the medium to long-tern plan is to build a school on the site.
However the land is zoned farming at the moment.
