Children left in car

A woman has received an official warning after two children were left alone in a hot car in Mildura.

Emergency services were called to Mildura Central on Friday afternoon, able to use a slight gap to pull a window all the way down.

The children were not injured, but were distressed with the weather hitting a high of 26-point-six- per cent.

Figures show there were 13 incidents of people locked in cars in Mildura in the year to November.

We’re being urged not to leave children or pets in cars, as temps are expected to remain in the 30s and even reaching the 40s this week.
