A Child Safe Pilot Program is being considered for Mallee Track Communities.
Ouyen police are leading the talks about child safety in the community and are looking for input to help shape the program.
They say one of the aims will be giving kids a range of specific places to go if they’re in distress or feel like they’re being bullied.

The program is being envisaged as a re-invention of the Safety House program which ended in 2013.
The first information session will be held in Ouyen next week, with others planned for Murrayville and Underbool down the track.
