Mildura Rural City Council is encouraging residents to check the new bin dates.
The new glass-only 120L purple-lidded kerbside bin will be picked up for the first time in July 2024, marking a new era for kerbside recycling in our region.
The introduction of a fourth kerbside bin, a mandatory requirement for all Councils under State legislation, is set to make sure more materials are transformed into new and useable materials, including being used in local road projects.

Some areas will also notice a change to their yellow recycling and red landfill collections from 1 July, so council asking residents to be sure to check all your bin collections from this date.
