The Victorian Government has announced its delivering more flexibility for water users along the Murray River.
It says a Place of Take framework is now in force, protecting users’ rights to take water from the river system if there’s a shortfall.
The government says the changes give water users more certainty on their right to have water delivered.

The government also says the changes also includes stronger penalties for non-compliance.
