Dozens of collection points for the Victorian containers-for-cash scheme have been shut down.
Most of the closures are at over-the-counter drop-off places where business owners are struggling to take and process the cans.
Mildura has been one of the most top-performing refund points in regional areas, returning almost 12-MILLION containers since the scheme started in November last year.

There are four collection points listed in Mildura, and one each in Ouyen, Robinvale, Boundary Bend and Swan Hill on the Container Deposit Scheme Victorian website https://cdsvic.org.au/
